The English-Speaking Union: Paris Trip
Quinn, as National President of the English Speaking Union, Quinn gets a few perks now and then. One of those perks was being invited to the anniversary of the Paris branch of the ESU. We were asked to play the piano during a reception at the British Embassy. We thought, sure, a little background music would be fine. When we arrived, we realized after seeing a whole series of chairs in front of the piano that we would be giving a full recital. We pulled together a bunch of pieces that we knew like the back of our hands and did the best we could. Thankfully the audience was forgiving and only there to have a good time.
